At Eirlume Studio we’re delighted to introduce our very first range of handcrafted stained glass lamps, we see them as unique pieces of functional art that bring colour and timeless beauty into your home.

We’ve been busy in the studio over the past few months developing this collection. Each lamp blends contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship. We’re so excited to finally make them available to buy on our website. The lamps had their first public unveiling at the These Hands market in Dalkey Castle during the Lobster Festival weekend, where they received a wonderful response from visitors.

We came together to brainstorm ideas for the lamp bases and overall styles. Each lamp is a true collaboration of our skills, I (Vanessa) focused on designing, cutting, and foiling the stained glass, while Charlie designed and crafted the unique wooden bases and wired the electrics. We both worked together to carefully assemble each lamp, as it’s very much a two-person job.

We’re incredibly proud of the collection we’ve created. We lived with two of the lamps in our own living room for a while to get a sense of their atmosphere, and we absolutely loved the soft glow and colour they bring. They really create a cosy ambiance in a room.

Stained Glass Lamps at Home

We hope these lamps will be loved for years to come and passed down like family heirlooms. Each one makes a real statement and brings something special to any room. The colour in stained glass never fades over time, only the bulbs need replacing, so your lamp will stay just as vibrant as the day it was made.

Stained Glass Lamps as Gifts

We’ve also had the pleasure of creating custom lamps for people who wanted a particular colour or style to suit their home or as a meaningful gift. On one occasion, we were commissioned to make a pink flower box lamp, not an easy colour to find in Ireland! While visiting Charlie’s parents in France, we came across some beautiful pink glass that was perfect for the project. These lamps make ideal gifts for anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, or simply as a gesture of love and appreciation.

Ordering Stained Glass Lamps

If you’d like to order a lamp and can collect it from our studio in Leitrim, you can purchase it directly through our website. For overseas orders or if you can’t collect in person, just drop us an email or fill out the enquiry form on the lamp’s product page, and we’ll work out the best shipping option for you. We don’t list fixed shipping costs, as prices fluctuate regularly. Each lamp is shipped in a custom wooden crate, carefully wrapped to ensure it arrives safely and in one piece.
